Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport → Moshi – Gateway to Kilimanjaro
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your private driver-guide and transferred to Moshi a charming town set at the foot of Africa’s highest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro.The drive takes approximately 45–60 minutes, offering your first glimpse of Tanzania’s landscapes and, weather permitting, the majestic peak of Kilimanjaro rising above the clouds.Upon arrival at your lodge, check in and unwind in a peaceful and scenic environment. Enjoy views of lush gardens or the mountain backdrop, followed by a relaxed evening and safari briefing in preparation for your journey to Mkomazi.

Day 2: Moshi → Mkomazi National Park – Into the Rhino Sanctuary
After breakfast in Moshi, depart with your private guide for a scenic drive to Mkomazi National Park (approximately 4–5 hours).As you leave the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro behind, the landscape gradually opens into dry savannah and acacia woodland, offering your first glimpse of Tanzania’s untamed wilderness.Arrive at Mkomazi in time for lunch at your lodge, followed by an afternoon game drive. This quiet and uncrowded park is home to elephants, giraffes, zebras, and a variety of antelope species, as well as over 400 bird species.Later, return to your lodge to relax and enjoy dinner under the stars, surrounded by the sounds of the African bush.

Day 3: Mkomazi National Park – Rhino Sanctuary Experience
Wake up to the sounds of the wild in Mkomazi National Park and enjoy an early breakfast before heading out for one of the most unique safari experiences in Tanzania.Today’s highlight is a visit to the Mkomazi Rhino Sanctuary, a protected conservation area dedicated to the preservation of the endangered black rhino. Accompanied by expert rangers, you will have the rare opportunity to observe these magnificent animals up close while learning about ongoing conservation efforts.After this exclusive experience, continue with a game drive across the park. Mkomazi is also one of the few places in Tanzania where you may spot the elusive African wild dog, along with elephants, giraffes, zebras, and a variety of antelope species.Return to your lodge for lunch and some relaxation before heading out again in the afternoon for another game drive or optional walking safari.As the sun sets, enjoy a peaceful evening back at camp with dinner under the stars, surrounded by the untouched wilderness.

Day 4: Mkomazi → Moshi – Return to Kilimanjaro Foothills
