Detailed Itinerary
Day 1
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport. Family welcome. Transfer to Mount Meru Hotel. Kids activity pack provided.
Day 2
Drive to Tarangire National Park. Junior Ranger program starts with wildlife spotting activities. Family game drive with shorter, engaging sessions. Visit to Tarangire Treetops treehouse rooms.
Day 3
Early morning family game drive. Return for breakfast. Afternoon visit to a Maasai village where kids can meet Maasai children and learn traditional games. Evening storytelling around the campfire.
Day 4
Drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Family game drive to spot tree-climbing lions and hippos. Picnic lunch at designated family-friendly area. Transfer to Lake Manyara Wildlife Lodge with pool.
Day 5
Drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Stop at viewpoint for family photos with the crater. Visit a Maasai boma where kids can learn to throw a spear and make traditional crafts. Overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge.
Day 6
Family descent into Ngorongoro Crater. Shorter game drive with kid-focused wildlife spotting. Picnic lunch at designated family area. Visit to a snake park and cultural center. Return to lodge.
Day 7
Morning at leisure. Optional nature walk on crater rim. Lunch then drive back to Arusha Planet Lodge. Farewell family dinner with traditional Tanzanian music.
Day 8
Breakfast then transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport. Junior Ranger graduation with certificate presentation.
