Detailed Itinerary
Day 1
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport. Transfer to Mount Meru Hotel in Arusha. Dinner and overnight.
Day 2
Drive to Tarangire National Park. Full day game drive with picnic lunch. See large elephant herds, baobab trees, and diverse wildlife. Evening drive to Tarangire Sopa Lodge.
Day 3
Drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Game drive through groundwater forest to see tree-climbing lions, flamingos, hippos, and diverse birdlife. Picnic lunch. Transfer to Lake Manyara Serena Lodge.
Day 4
Drive to Serengeti via Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Stop at Olduvai Gorge for a guided tour. Afternoon game drive en-route to Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge.
Day 5
Full day game drives in Serengeti. Search for the Big Five and the Great Migration. Picnic lunch in the bush. Return to lodge for dinner.
Day 6
Early morning game drive. Return to lodge for breakfast. Mid-day rest. Afternoon game drive exploring different areas of the park. Sunset viewing.
Day 7
Morning game drive en-route to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive at Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge on the crater rim. Afternoon at leisure.
Day 8
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full day game drive. See the Big Five including the endangered black rhino. Picnic lunch at the crater floor. Late afternoon return to lodge.

Morning at leisure. Optional walking safari on the crater rim. Lunch at the lodge. Afternoon drive to Plantation Lodge in Karatu. Relax by the pool.
