Detailed Itinerary
Day 1
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport. Meet your safari representative and transfer to Arusha Coffee Lodge for overnight. Relax and prepare for your adventure.
Day 2
After breakfast, enjoy a briefing with your guide. Optional visit to Arusha Town for any last-minute purchases. Overnight at Arusha Coffee Lodge.
Day 3
Fly from Arusha to Serengeti. Upon arrival, begin game drives in the northern Serengeti, searching for the Great Migration herds. Dinner and overnight at Lemala Kuria Hills Lodge.
Day 4
Full day game drives in northern Serengeti. Witness dramatic Mara River crossings (seasonal) as thousands of wildebeest and zebra brave the crocodile-infested waters. Picnic lunch in the bush.
Day 5
Early morning game drive with bush breakfast. Continue exploring the northern Serengeti, tracking predator activity around the migration herds. Hot air balloon safari option (extra cost).
Day 6
Another full day of game viewing in the Serengeti. Visit different areas of the northern sector, home to large herds of elephants, giraffes, and diverse wildlife.
Day 7
Morning game drive followed by lunch at the lodge. Afternoon game drive exploring the rolling plains. Sunset sundowner with champagne.
Day 8
Final day in Serengeti with morning and afternoon game drives. Look for cheetahs on the open plains and leopards along the riverine forests.
Day 9
Morning flight from Serengeti to Manyara airstrip. Drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area with en-route game drive. Arrive at Ngorongoro Crater Lodge on the crater rim. Afternoon at leisure with spectacular crater views.
Day 10
Early breakfast then descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full day game drive. Search for the Big Five including the endangered black rhino. Picnic lunch at Hippo Pool. Late afternoon ascend back to the lodge.
Day 11
Morning drive to Manyara airstrip for flight to Zanzibar. Arrive and transfer to Zanzibar Serena Hotel in Stone Town. Afternoon spice tour exploring Zanzibar's famous spice plantations. Evening at leisure.
Day 12
After breakfast, enjoy a sunset dhow cruise along the Zanzibar coast. Transfer to Zanzibar International Airport for departure flight.
